SAMOK’s event calendar for 2026 has now been published. The calendar will remain largely unchanged compared to this year. A special highlight next year will of course be SAMOK’s Anniversary Celebration on 6 June 2026, when we celebrate the union’s 30th anniversary. The year will also kick off with the traditional Lähtölaukaus cruise on the Baltic Sea from 26–28 January 2026.

This year we continued the model where student unions could apply to host the General Assembly on their own campus. This time, from among many strong applications, the choice fell on Helsinki, where the General Assembly will take place on 28–30 October 2026 in cooperation with Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences’ student union Helga on the Pasila campus.
