Student unions
SAMOK is made up of 22 student unions. Individual student unions are local organisations, while SAMOK operates nationwide. One of the most visible services that student unions provide to their members is the student identity card.
Student unions
- are organisations governed by public law that represent the interests of students and run a wide range of extracurricular activities for students,
- represent students within the university organisation and in the wider community,
- represent students and campaign for issues that are important to students at meetings of university boards and other internal bodies, and
- play an active role locally by influencing decision-makers in local and regional governments.
