SAMOK’s Autumn Start is an autumn orientation event for student union elected representatives and the SAMOK Board. Participants can get to know other elected representatives, familiarise themselves with the documents for the upcoming General Assembly, and spend time together enjoying the sauna, barbecuing and swimming. There will also be training and workshops on topics that support student union activities.

Autumn Start will take place from Thursday to Saturday, 5–7 August 2021. This year, we will travel to Ahonniemi camp centre on the shore of Lake Kalajärvi in Peräseinäjoki. The programme can also be followed remotely via a live stream. We will take COVID-19 safety and restrictions into account in the arrangements, and Autumn Start may also be held entirely online if the situation requires it.
