Lähtölaukaus is SAMOK's kick-off of the year, bringing together student union actors from all over Finland. At Lähtis, we get to know each other, take part in training and have fun. The programme is diverse and offers something for all kinds of participants.

In 2026, the Lähtölaukaus kick-off cruise will take place on Viking Cinderella from Mon–Wed 26–28 January 2026. At the event you’ll get to meet other student union actives, our stakeholders and partners, and discuss topical issues. Registration closes on

All SAMOK member student unions and our stakeholders are welcome to the event. The programme is aimed at new and former board members of student unions, student council members, employees and executive directors. So the whole student union crew is welcome to join!

The invitation, registration instructions and programme have been sent by email to the student unions and our stakeholders. If, for some reason, the invitation has not reached you, please contact SAMOK’s senior advisor in communications Aleksi Airaksinen ([email protected]).
