At its meeting on 20 April, SAMOK’s Board of Directors confirmed the resignation of Board member Minni Takala, effective 9 May. The reason for her resignation is the opportunity that has opened up for Ms Takala to move to work as part of the Coalition Party’s parliamentary group. Until then, Takala will carry out her duties as a member of the board as usual.

The board has also decided not to complete the board and to reorganise the board in terms of areas of responsibility. Takala’s responsible student unions will be contacted directly by the new godparent during May.

The SAMOK office thanks Takala for her contribution to the representation of the interests of students in the UAS and wishes her good luck and success in the new challenges ahead.
