Welcome to SAMOK’s Spring Seminar in Helsinki on Thursday–Friday, 15–16 March 2018, to discuss current issues affecting student unions and learn from experts. The first day’s training topics include preparing for the regional elections, finding corporate partners and the impact of the EU General Data Protection Regulation on student union activities.

The seminar’s second day also offers an opportunity to discuss the position of young people as they enter working life. Is working life increasingly dividing young people into winners? What skills will be needed in the future, and will everyone keep up? These questions will be explored through panel discussions and a solution-focused workshop.
