Communication, events, trainings and partnerships

I’m Aleksi, SAMOK’s communications and services advisor. I am responsible for the implementation and coordination of communication, events, training and partnerships.
In communications, I coordinate, instruct and train as needed. In concrete terms, my tasks include assisting with the publication of position papers, maintaining the website and coordinating social media communications. I also produce content and manage language. I edit SAMOK’s newsletter with the board member responsible for communication and am responsible for the implementation and timeliness of the communication strategy, as well as contributing to the design of impact communication.
On the events side, I am responsible for event planning and organisation, event marketing and communication. I also develop and coordinate the service package, planning and sparring training for the various projects.
In addition, I am responsible for SAMOK’s partnerships.
The aim is to ensure that SAMOK’s services to student unions are of the highest quality, varied and useful, and that communication is of a high standard.
